I'm a 30-something male resident of Sydney who discovered Wikipedia late in 2002.

I happily admit to being an eccentric and a polymath; I hold a design degree, work in the telecommunications industry, and spend a lot of my time pursuing professional interests in alternative politics, radio broadcasting, music production, calendar reform, architectural photography, business management, philately, numismatics, vexillology and 20th century heritage conservation. And occasionally, Wikipedia.

All of this means that I have a need to be efficient with my time, and as a result I have a very low tolerance for fools, the wilfully stupid, pedants, dogmatists and sophists.

When it comes to Wikipedia I am an unashamed egalitarian inclusionist - so long as article content is verifiable by offline sources as well as online ones.

I have recently been made the subject of an ongoing campaign of abuse and vilification by Samboy, which I intend to take to arbitration. I will compile my evidence here over the next few days, prior to initiating that process, and invite anyone else who has experienceed similar abuse from this editor to contact me.

Samboy, a new Wikipedia editor has recently engaged in behaviour that is inappropriate and offensive against me, and that is not in accordance with Wikipedia community standards. These actions appear to stem from strong personal opinions held by this editor on the subject of Micronations, and specifically the Empire of Atlantium - an entity that I have made no secret of being directly associated with. Samboy's opinions on those subjects are unsupported by available evidence, and I believe that the resultant frustration of being unable to impose his POV as a consensus has driven him towards increasingly irrational behaviour towards me. This includes:

  • Falsely accusing me of abusing Wikipedia editing protocols:
  • Maliciously posting irrelevant links concerning my (already known) identity, in order to falsely suggest to other editors that my actions on Wikipedia are in some way duplicitous:
  • Maliciously posting irrelevant links to 4-year old Usenet postings (made by myself in response to personal abuse posted about me by a Usenet troll), to falsely suggest to other editors that my actions on Wikipedia are in some way duplicitous:
  • Being flippant and offhand in refusing to acknowledge responsibility for, or apologise for the above behaviour when offered the opportunity to do so:
