Mesona

A genus in the Lamiaceae family. One exemplar species in this genus is Mesona procumbens Hemsley, called xiancao in Mandarin, and sian-chhau in Ho-lo. It is said to be a diuretic, used in Taiwan as a tea (served hot) or curded and served over ice.
