Carlo Rovelli is an Italian-born physicist who now works at the Centre de Physique Theorique in France. His work is in the field of quantum gravity.
He graduated in 1986, University of Padova, Italy. Around 1990, Carlo Rovelli and Lee Smolin obtained an explicit basis of states of quantum geometry, labelled by Penrose's spin networks.
