The Sierra Creative Interpreter (SCI) is the language created by Sierra for its adventure games.
There were many revisions of SCI, including SCI0, SCI01, SCI1, SCI-T.A, SCI1.1 and SCI32. SCI0 required keyboard input, used mouse support for controlling the character, and supported up to 16-color EGA graphics. This interpreter, as well as SCI1, supported a resolution of 320x200, but only SCI1 had VGA support. The next five revisions evoluted toward much better graphics and a full point-and-click interface. SCI32 is the last Sierra game to use the SCI interpreter, and it is the only interpreter that supported high-resolution VESA graphics and had a resolution of 640x480.
