That '80s Show was a television situation comedy which revolved around the lives of a group of friends circa living in San Diego, California during the year of 1984. It debuted on January 23, 2002, and the final episode aired May 29, 2002. It was a spin-off of the more successful That '70s Show. Despite, or perhaps due to, a formula similar to its predecessor — friends living their everyday lives in a decade past — That '80s Show failed to garner a wide audience and was canceled by Fox after 13 episodes.

The show differed from That '70s Show in the way it was presented as a tongue-in-cheek parody using over-the-top stereotypes as the characters and following what could be described as the typically conceived family dynamic of the 1980s.
About The Show
The show follows the lives of struggling musician Corey Howard (Glenn Howerton) and his group of close friends: His punk-rocker girlfriend and co-worker June Tuesday (Chyler Leigh), his Ronald Reagan-admiring, used car dealer, and dance-a-holic Roger (Eddie Shin), his college dropout and Valley Girl sister Katie Howard (Tinsley Grimes), his bi-sexual ex-girlfriend Sophia (Brittany Daniel), his divorced father R.T. Howard (Geoff Pierson), and his boss Margaret (Margaret Smith).
Episodes took place at different locations throughout the day. Scenes would take place at a dance club, a record store, an office, and the family home.
