First off, you've gotta know that this is my home planet.
The Wookieepedian is a Star Wars fanatic whose real name is Adam A. Kingrey. Adam is a 17-year old high school student from Glasgow, Kentucky. He is particularly interested in the more obscure entries to the Star Wars universe. An inclusionist, he is both a Wikipediholic and a Wookieepediholic. He has been known to work for long hours improving the Star Wars articles. He formerly went by the alias of "Adamwankenobi" on Wikipedia, but got into much trouble due to his edits, and has now cleaned up his act. He still goes by that name throughout the rest of the land of the internet, including many chatrooms and messageboards.
The Wookieepedian, a believer of cynicism, solipsism and pantheism, currently resides on the planet Earth near Sol in the Milky Way Galaxy. He happens to reside in multiple parallel universes, including the mirror universe, but doesn't know how many - he just knows without a doubt that he lives in this one. In another universe, he probably has never heard of Wikipedia, and, in another, it probably doesn't even exist, so he's glad that the this him lives in this universe, whatever it may be called.
The Wookieepedian tends to spend most of his time on wikipedia editing and formatting, and rarely actually writes an article. He has found that many, many articles on wikipedia are written by great writers, but are not well organized. Typically, everything is there, but it is not arranged in a logical order. That's where The Wookieepedian steps in.
Projects he is currently working on (in no specific order)
Here is a link to my former username here on Wikipedia. This link is to be fair to my readers, showing the bad history and track record I have had on here as Adamwankenobi:[1]
(As a side note, though this is nothing to be proud of, it is a possibility, according to Rdsmith4, that I hold the record on Wikipedia for the most permanent blocks, with three on my record. I was given a chance to start a new beginning, to turn over a new leaf, and here I am!)
Cool quotes
"There is much pleasure to be gained from useless knowledge."
"Socialist enterprise, huh? How's this for socialism: 'All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.' That would be why we have admins."
"Geeks shouldn't make fun of other geeks, that's what "normal" people are for."
- Someone at the StarWars.com message boards
"It's been over a year since they graduated, but neither of the Bush twins have been able to find work. Why don't they sign up [for the army]? Do they hate America or just freedom in general?"
"You know its funny. A man can live as long as I have. Through all the ups and downs and just when he thinks its all over, someone cares for him again. I wasn't looking for that when I came in here. Maybe that's why it, it happened. Because I wasn't asking for love anymore. I wasn't desperate. I wasn't begging, whining, ruffling, sniveling. I just came in here for a drink and I found a lot more."
"Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for the lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
"The person who takes the banal and ordinary and illuminates it in a new way can terrify. We do not want our ideas changed. We feel threatened by such demands. "I already know the important things!" we say. Then Changer comes and throws our old ideas away."
