Nancy Taylor Rosenberg's first novel, MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES, was published to worldwide acclaim in 1993, the film rights obtioned by academy award winning direction, Jonathon Demme. Ms. Rosenberg has seen published 11 novels in almost every language. The majority of her novels have been New York Times bestsellers. She was born Nancy Camille Taylor in 1946 in Dallas, Texas. She attended school at Gulf Park College in Gulf Port, Miss. She has three children, three step children, and numerous grandchildren. At present, she resides in the Los Angeles area.

Ms. Rosenberg is also known for her humanitarian work. In 1994, she was named "Woman of Excellance" for her writing program "Voices of Tomorrow" which targets inner city youth. Her novels are MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES, INTEREST OF JUSTICE, FIRST OFFENSE, CALIFORNIA ANGEL, TRAIL BY FIRE, ABUSE OF POWER, BURIED EVIDENCE, CONFLICT OF INTEREST, SULLIVAN'S LAW, SULLIVAN'S JUSTICE, SULLIVAN'S EVIDENCE, and REVENGE OF INNOCENTS. MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES is required reading in many law schools, and ABUSE OF POWER in police departments. Ms. Rosenberg is a former police and probation officer, who deals with serious issues in a contemporary format.
