Isle of Man TT

The Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) , or Manx TT is a motorcycle racing event held on the Isle of Man. The races are conducted on the streets and roads of the island, a very dangerous circuit which has already take dozens of victims under the racers.

The race was first organised in 1907, and are normally held every year. From 1949 to 1975, the race was part of the Motorcycling World Championship. The most successful rider is Joey Dunlop, winning 22 times from 1977 to 2000 in the various classes contested.
