Ultimate Power is a nine-issue comic book limited series that takes place in the Ultimate Marvel Universe. Slated for an October 2006 release, this series will tie the Ultimate Universe into the Supreme Power universe, and will be written by Brian Michael Bendis, J. Michael Straczynski, and Jeph Loeb.

It was recently announced at Wizard World Philly that Ultimate Power will be drawn by Greg Land, who is currently finishing Ultimate Fantastic Four with Mark Millar.

Issue 1 Solicitation: "The Fantastic Four’s leader, Reed Richards, has accidentally punched a hole into an adjacent universe in a desperate bid to gain the knowledge he needs to cure his friend Ben Grimm — The Thing. But something has come through the aperture from a realm known as the Supremeverse: The Squadron Supreme! They are angry and here to arrest young Reed for high crimes against their world."

Issue 2 Solicitation: "The Squadron Supreme has invaded the Ultimate Universe seeking revenge, and Earth strikes back with its biggest guns! It’s the smackdown of the year as the Squadron Supreme go toe-to-toe with the Ultimates, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Ultimate X-Men and Ultimate Spidey himself. And neither world will survive unscathed. You cannot miss it!"

The cover for the first issue contains various characters from both universes including some from the Ultimate Universe: Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Marvel Girl, Invisible Woman and some from the Supremeverse: Hyperion, Doctor Spectrum, Princess Zarda, Blur and Inertia.

The cover for the second issue focuses on the Ultimate Fantastic Four as the major Marvel presence and Hyperion, Princess Zarda, Blur, Inertia, Nuke, Arcanna and Shape as the Squadron Supreme presence.

This will signify the first complete Ultimate Universe crossover, i.e. the first crossover that integrates all current ongoing series as well as the first crossover that spans another already existent Marvel Universe. It should also be noted that the creators of this mini-series have hinted that the crossover will have lasting effects on both universes with the possibility of several characters permanently switching from one Earth to the other.
