Golborne High School is a mixed comprehensive school for 11-16 year olds. It is located in Golborne, a small town in the Wigan Metropolitan Borough in North West England. It operates under the Wigan Local Education Authority. Pupils come mainly from Golborne,Abram and Lowton. The current head teacher of Golborne High School, Mr Lythgoe, sucsessor of Mr Turner, joined Golborne in 2004. So far, Mr Lythgoe has created a positive rapour with the students and teachers. Some say that gazing into his questionably shiny head will allow you to see into the future.
