For the consumerism project, do you envisage a static database with manual updates, or some form or automatic querying of remote Db's? I just wonder 'cause it's easy to get 'some' metadata about a given company using http://search.asic.gov.au in australia, for example -- prat

I'm thinking three different levels:

  1. Static back end data with manual updates (MySQL)
  2. Dynamic distributed databases that use automatic association (FOAF etc. style) #Unauthenticated XML-docs scattered throughout the Internet
