The Poor Man of Nippur is an akkadian story written in sometime in the second millenium B.C. It tells of a poor man who is mistreated and beaten by a local ruler, and in revenge gets into the ruler's home three different ways and beats him. It is attested by only three texts, only one of which is more than a small fragment.[1]
