This is a code that all students must agree to and helps teachers to 'enforce' the rules:

*We will listen to each other when we speak.

  • I will be quiet when my teacher is speaking.
  • I will allow other people to finish talking and not interuppt.
  • I will stay in my seat during the lesson.

*We will respect each others' opinions.

  • I will consider other people's feelings when speaking.
  • I will consider other people's feelings when doing things.
  • I will be helpful to people when they need it.

*We will treat each other with dignity.

  • I will speak to people as I would like to be spoken to.
  • I will treat people's belongings as I would me own. (grammatical error is as written in planner)
  • I will say please and thank you when I want something.

*We will take care of our environment.

  • I will put my litter in a bin.
  • I will treat the school buildings as I would my own home.
  • I will return school equipment in its original condition.

*We will try to learn from every experience.

  • I will try my hardest in every lesson.
  • I will apologise if I make a mistake and not do it again.
  • I will try to enjoy every day at Fitzharrys.
