My name is Getoar.
I am 19 years old from Prishtina, Kosova. I went to Mehmet Akif College high school in Prishtina and then to Memorial Hall School in Houston, Texas where I graduated as valedictorian. I am currently studying at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas, majoring in Molecular Biology and perhaps Chemistry too.
I speak English at almost the same level as my native Albanian. I am an intermediate speaker of French and Spanish, and a beginner speaker of Turkish. I can also understand Portuguese, Catalan, German, and Serbian at a very novice level.
I have been a Wikipedia member since August 2005, but then took a 9-month break due to personal reasons. I am now back trying to provide a better representation for my home country, the Albanian people, language, and culture. Nevertheless, I tend to contribute in other areas as well, like with the articles on some Japanese American writers (Garrett Hongo etc.).
