CSI: NY (working title CSI: New York) is a 2004 American police procedural television series which premiered on September 22. It is a spinoff from CSI: Miami, first introduced during an episode of the latter when Horatio Caine journeyed to New York City in pursuit of a murder suspect who fled Miami. It is much bloodier than the Miami version, and is filmed in a hard blue light.

- Gary Sinise - Mack Taylor, often called just Mac, whose wife died in the terrorist attacks on the United States of America on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. He often does not sleep well, but is a believer in evidence.
- Vanessa Ferlito - Aiden Burn who has the ability to adapt to new situations very quickly.
- Carmine Giovinazzo - Danny Messer comes from a long line of law enforcement personnel.
- Hill Harper - Sheldon Hawkes lost two patients and walked away from being a surgeon.
- Melina Kanakaredes - Stella Bonasera who is absolutely devoted to her job.
- Eddie Cahill - Don Flack a witty homicide detective who has very little patience with suspects.
In the reccurring role of Leonard Giles, a doctor who is a double amputee, is J. Grant Albrecht.
