Uris (born August 11, 1977) is a Wikipedian who first contributed (anonymously from 12.39.206.20) to the Wikipedia on March 5, 2004. Forming naturally, Uris was raised in Waynesboro, Virginia. Uris received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.

Uris makes a lot of edits. Typically, the user will make dozens of edits to a particular article over a few days until it is up to an acceptable standard. This does not mean that Uris does welcome the edits of other contributors: remember, be bold with edits! Uris often tries to make all of his edits at once, but then will always notice another little detail in long articles. It's a lost cause: The user will always make a lot of edits on top of previous edits. Uris is not trying to be rude!
It is Uris' belief that Wikipedia is the most brilliant idea ever released on the Internet, by a wide margin over #2 (Friendster). In the event that Kate's Tools come back, or someone else is able to make a functioning account migration tool, my aliases (Omnibus, Switzerland, and Barnstar) will officially dissappear and all edits will be merged into Uris.
Uris was the original author on a variety of subjects in the Wikipedia including these subjects: Ribbon eel - State income tax - Lower valley of the Omo - Executive Education - Business 2.0 - Kiplinger's Personal Finance - Birmingham-Southern College - Nebraska Wesleyan University - University of Texas of the Permian Basin - David Berman - Linda Kozlowski - P.
