Cornbrook is a tram station on the Manchester Metrolink Altrincham line that has (since the MetroLink's induction) been extended as a link-station to the newly-added line to Eccles. The tram station's name refers to the locality of Cornbrook, located to the north of the Old Trafford area. Cornbrook lies beside the Bridgewater canal and Pomona Docks, part of the Manchester Ship canal.

Cornbrook is on the former Manchester–Altrincham railway line, but the stop opened with the Eccles extension in 1999. Cornbrook was unique when opened as there was no access to/from the street, the stop being used for transfer between Altrincham line trams and Eccles trams. The stop's street access finally opened in September 2005. The stop is between the dual carriageway A56 Chester Road and the derelict Pomona Docks on the Manchester Ship Canal, in an area which is set to undergo considerable redevelopment.

When Cornbrook opened, it was for interchange only—passengers could change between Altrincham and Eccles line trams. This was the emergency exit to street level, which has since been opened up to form the passenger entrance/exit to the stop
