WP:DEAD

Not criticizing or anything, but didn't we want to wait until all the pages were done being fixed on there? We had a good 1000 pages left. -Patstuarttalk|edits 20:13, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see a compelling reason to wait. The legitimately unfixed pages from the old version are still on the new version, and most projects of this nature are either dynamically generated by category, or created by automated scripts anyway. I think it is far more efficient to have the information be as current as possible. For example, I have prodded over 400 dead-end articles between Christmastime and now, while waiting for the last few on M-Z to be removed by hand, even though most of the articles have already been dealt with in some manner already. The new version has thousands of articles which have only seen one human editor, although some have been tagged orphan and so forth by bots. I guess my point is that the actual number of dead-end pages is growing, regardless of how many are on the list itself, and I would like to see them dealt with as quickly as possible. Deletion of www.zlinternational.utb.cz

Hello,

as the author of the article I do not understand why it should be deleted! I found in the wikipedia guidelines that media attention is a relevance creteria for wikipedia and the biggest czech newspaper reported about the web-portal which is not aiming at making money but at helping people!

So could anyone please explain me, why it should be deleted? Thanks

Regarding your observation, the result is why I am personally reluctant to spend too much time "fixing" articles on AfD. Unless you care deeply about the subject, there are few things more frustrating (for me) than spending time to improve an article only to see it deleted.--Kubigula (talk) 14:50, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
