M. Raja, popularly known as Jayam Raja, is a famous and successful director in both Tollywood and Kollywood, the Indian based film industry. He has done four films, all under his home banner, Jayam Company. His father , Mohan, is a veteran producer who started his career in films as an Editor. He is hence popularly known as Editor Mohan. M. Raja's first film was 'Hanuman Junction' in Telugu starring Arjun, Jagapati Babu, Sneha, Laya and Venu. It was a super hit in Telugu. He then turned to Tamil and directed his brother Jayam Ravi in three films namely, Jayam, M. Kumaran, Son of Mahalakshmi and the recent Unakkum Enakkum Something Something, all of which are major hits. He is just four films old, but is already a name to reckon with, since Jayam Company and M. Raja have a track record of successive hits which strike a chord with both classes and the masses alike.
