The book Steal This Book was written by Abbie Hoffman in 1970, and is considered a classic of American pop culture of the 1960s. It includes advice on such topics as growing marijuana, starting a pirate radio station, living in a commune, and preparing a legal defense.

It is also filled with Hoffman's political views: "Avoid all needle drugs--the only dope worth shooting is Richard Nixon."
