- First of all, thank you for all the work that you do for the community.
- I am not sure if I am posting this question on the right place, but since you are the creator of this extraeditbuttons.js and I am unable to find the answer to my question elsewhere, please accept my appology for intruding into your page.
- I would love to have these extra buttons on my MediaWiki edit box, but I am such a novice that I don't know how to.
- I pasted the "simple code" on Special:Mypage/mystyle.js but nothing favorable happened.
- Then after a while of searching, I finally ended up on the actual code that starts with <pre> and ends with </pre>, which was provided by you.
- I assume I need to copy the large code into a file named extraeditbuttons.js and place it somewhere, then enter the "simple code" into Special:Mypage/mystyle.js.
- Am I totally off?
- Would you please be so kind to tell me
- if I can actually use this code within my MediaWiki
- and if so, where should I place the file?
- Your kind help will be received with much appreciation.
