Florida
Flordia is a state in the southern United States. It is known as the sunshine state. It is a peninsula, with the Atlantic Ocean as its eastern border and the Gulf of Mexico as its western border. It is bordered on the north by the states of Georgia and Alabama. It is near Cuba, Haiti, and other countries in the Caribbean. As of the 2000 census, the state had a population of 15,982,378.
