Ernest L. Blumenschein

Ernest L. Blumenschein 1874-1960, a artist was a charter member of the Taos Society of Artists and part of the Taos art colony which from 1898 was an important part of the life of Taos, New Mexico.

Blumenschein was one of the originators of a distinctive style of American art called Western art.
