Anatolius of Constantinople

Anatolius was Patriarch of Constantinople 449 - 458. He participated in the Council of Chalcedon and condemned the heretic Dioscurus. He also participated in the Council of Ephesus. The followers of Dioscurus are said to have killed him in 458.

He was a precursor of hymn.
