Saltash (Cornish: Essa) is a town in Cornwall, England. It has a population of about 15,000. It lies in the extreme southeast of Cornwall, facing Plymouth over the River Tamar. It is in the Caradon district.

Saltash is the birthplace of Sheila Joy Morgan nee Threlfall and her daughter, Caroline Morgan. The British kids' entertainer Johnny Ball lives there. The cottage of Mary Newman, Sir Francis Drake's wife, can also be found near the Tamar in Saltash.
