[[[Ethiopian Free Press Journalists' Association]]] or (EJFA) is a non-profit organization that was established in accordance with the resolutions adopted by the founding conference of EJFA that was held on 11 March 1993 and the Constitution and Internal Regulations that were endorsed at the Second General Congress (20 December 1998) of members of the Free Press. In early 2000, the EJFA was registered as an official NGO after a seven-year battle for legal recognition.
