Cleveland Abbe

Cleveland Abbe was born in 1838 and died 1916. He was a famous U.S. meteorologist and advocate of time zones. He is also noted as being the father of U.S. Weather Bureau. He was also a genealogist, writing the history of his paternal family in the book "The Abbe-Abbey Genealogy" co-authored with Josephine Nichols.
