The television series Empty Nest is a spin-off from The Golden Girls and ran on NBC for seven seasons from 1988 to 1995. The series was distributed by Touchstone Television.

The show starred Richard Mulligan as pediatrician Harry Weston. His two daughters were Dinah Manoff as Carol and Kristy McNichol as Barbara. The daughters had moved back home after the death of their mother. David Leisure, who had become famous in ads for Isuzu brand automobiles, played the neighbor, Charlie.

Other cast included David Leisure and Park Overall.
