That was shocking. Was worried, as its only 8:30pm here (Canadian West Coast). Sad at first, as I thought that I was screwed out of adding to this. But then thought, didn't the founders say something like, "Imagine a world where everyone has free access to all information. We are trying to make that happen." Now, I'm happy that its only for fun. Just so you know, this is going to cause a lot of people to freak out when they read that.
Totally brilliant, and freaked me out at first. I was like, "Jimmy Wales sold us out for $140 million? Alright, understandable, it's $140 million, but come on!" Then I saw the surprising boilerplate, and instantly understood.

Okay, for a real question, should the page have an "Anyone who is surprised read the [[April Fool's Day|explanation]]" notice at the top? The argument for, as I see it, is that the article is getting long, and the link at the bottom is not immediately obvious. The argument against is precedent. Any other reasons/opinions? ~~~~
