Battle of Carpentaria

In the fictional anime Gundam SEED series, in the early stages of the Bloody Valentine War, ZAFT launched Operation Uroboros, a territoral operation to take control of Earth. One of ZAFT's earliest landings was in the friendly Oceania Union territory. However, not willing to allow ZAFT to set up it's first Earth-based stronghold, an Earth Alliance Pacific Fleet attacked ZAFT's forces. The Battle of Carpentaria ended in victory for ZAFT and was able to set up its Carpentaria base within two days.
