Investor relations (IR) are activity to which the company discloses information required for investment judgment timely to the stockholder or the investor.

For large companies, IR such as the financial statements, have since the mid-1990s been accompanied by a corporate outline or a Settlement of Accounts public notice, which are disclosed on the company's homepage.
