Sir Basil Zaharoff, originally Basileios Zachrias, (b. 1849 in Anatolia, Turkey, d. 1936) was an international arms trader and financier, of whom it was said that he actually fueled conflicts in order to be able to sell to both sides during the resulting war.

Google spits out loads of links to articles on Zaharoff, unfortunately they all turn out to lead to the same short encyclopedia article. Has anyone got some more print info on this man?
