"Naval Air Station Whidbey Island" (aka NAS Whidbey), is a United States Navy Air Base located in two sections around Oak Harbor, WA. About 3 Miles North of Oak Harbor is Ault Field (aka The Main Base). There are several Navy Squadrons based there for use abord ship or land based locations. It also has three runways. The other section of the base is called the Seaplane Base. Its the primary location of the Base Navy Exchange and DECA Commissary. It also is where most of the Navy Owned Housing is located.
