Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NAS Whidbey) is a United States Navy Air Base located in two sections around Oak Harbor, Washington. About three miles north of Oak Harbor is Ault Field (aka The Main Base). There are several Navy Squadrons based there for use aboard ship or land based locations; It has three runways. The other section of the base is called the Seaplane Base. It's the primary location of the Base Navy Exchange and DECA Commissary. It is also where most of the Navy-owned housing is located.
