Kreacher is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series. Kreacher was a House-Elf, who unlike Winky and most House-Elves, wanted to be freed. He was forced to guard many secrets for the Order of the Phoenix. According to Dumbledore, Kreachers existance is as miserable as that of Dobby.

The family Kreacher served was the Anchient and Most Nobal House of Black.
