Percy Romeo Miller, Jr. (born August 19, 1989 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is an American rapper and actor. The son of rapper, producer and entertainment mogul Master P and nephew of C-Murder and Silkk the Shocker, he records teen-friendly hip-hop music on his father's Guttar Music label. He is best known by his stage name, Romeo, although his previous name was Lil' Romeo. He has so far released three studio albums and two compilation album. His fifth album God's Gift was released on December 12, 2006.
Biography
Romeo was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was first born son to rapper Master P who was the eldest out of 7 children. Romeo stated on his myspace that he and his family are all Catholic. In acting he starred in his own television show, Romeo! and also played a small role in the movie Max Keeble's Big Move. His well known role was from the 2004 movie Honey. Romeo also stared in an episode off MTV Cribs where he shows he has a dog named Dollar because he says he's a Young Richie Rich. His dog also appeared on a few video clips from Romeo's 2nd album Game Time. He is mentioned on a track called "Say it to My Face" on God's Gift. Romeo is a talented basketball player. His dad Master P said in an interview that young Romeo picked up basketball at the age of three and has been playing all his life. On his tv show Romeo! there is evidence that Romeo is talented in basketball. He was recently invited to the Reebok-sponsored ABCD, considered the premier basketball camp in the United States. The Teaneck, New Jersey-based ABCD camp is an invitation-only basketball showcase that has produced a host of high-profile players, including Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant, Stephon Marbury, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James. As of 4/13/2007, Romeo verbally commited on a basketball scholarship to play for the University of Southern California beginning in the winter of 2008.
Lil' Romeo says he's bound for Southern California, where if all goes according to plan, he could be Romeo Miller, Trojans' basketball player.
Music career
At the age of 10 Lil Romeo followed in his father Master P's foot steps and became a rapper. His success came from his 2 early studio albums. At the end of 2004 when he released his 3rd album, Lil Romeo changed his stage name to just Romeo in 2005-2006 and has used that stage name for his later albums Lottery and God's Gift. Also Romeo opened a new recording label named Gutta Music. Romeo also appeared on most of his father's Master P's greatist hits such as I Need Dubs. Also during his album God's Gift Romeo changed his genre of rap from teen friendly to southern rap and introduced his family band the Rich Boyz. So far the Rich Boyz have released one studio album but the group appeared on most of the tracks on God's Gift. Since then Romeo has been working on his new album Gumbo Station. This will be his first studio album from 3 years and his first studio album to use the name Romeo. He mentioned on his myspace page that this is going to be his best album yet. Rumored guest include Rihanna (confirmed), Cassie, Chingy, UGK, Lil' Wayne & Chamillionaire and production by Dr Dre. After the album has been released in 2007 Romeo will be concentrating more on his basketball then his music.
Basketball career
At the young age of 3, Romeo Miller first picked up a basketball and inherited his father's love and skill of the game. Since then Miller has regularly practiced and played basketball as part of teams and for fun- even revealing his basketball talent in a few of his music videos like 2 way, and on his TV show, Romeo!. More recently, Miller had developed his basketball skills against 200 of the nation's top high school players at the 2006 ABCD camp.
On April 13th, 2007, Miller verbally committed to the University of Southern California (USC). Although, according to USC he hasn't officially commited to be a member of the 2008 USC Trojans NCAA basketball team. Miller, a 6'1" point guard at Beverly Hills High School, will put his full entertainment career (television, music, and film) on hold, while he attends USC as an undergraduate majoring in business administration. According to representatives for Romeo Miller, he is is the first nationally known active Hip-Hop star to receive a full athletic scholarship.
Clothing Line
Lil' Romeo has one clothing line called "P.miller shorties". [citation needed] Romeo also has P. Miller Shoes. Recently he stated that he has another line out, "Gumbo Station." This line also features his "Cookie Monster" Gear. Romeo is the CEO of the clothing line. He also admits he has a clothing line from his latest single Special Girl. In Photo shoots Romeo would wear clothes from his clothing line and on his myspace you can buy some of his clothes online.
Rich Boyz
Also see Rich Boyz During Romeo's 3rd album Romeoland, Romeo introduced his own group called the Rich Boyz. The members of the group include Romeo's cousins and his younger brother Young V. So far the group has released one album Young Ballers: The Hood Been Good To Us and has appeared in most of Romeo's tracks such as "U Cant Shine Like Me".

Trivia
- After Romeo released his third album Romeoland Romeo changed his stage name from Lil Romeo to a more mature Romeo. Rumours say that during his feud with Bow Wow, Romeo wanted to get rid of the Lil because Bow Wow did.
- Romeo had a feud with rapper Bow Wow when Bow Wow released a single called Fresh Azimiz saying that he's only 18 and he's making more than Romeo's dad Master P. Romeo responded to the song and also released a diss track called U Cant Shine Like Me. After the single the feud seemed to settle between the two.
- Romeo is the first son to multi millionaire rapper Master P.
- Romeo stared in his own Sitcom called Romeo!. The show ended in 2006.
- Celebrity Deathmatch depicted him in a match against Bow Wow as their "little" selves. Romeo lost.
