AsiaYois a Taiwanese online travel agency founded in July 2013. The company offers a wide range of travel services across 42 countries and 390 cities. Its headquarters is located in Taipei, Taiwan, with additional offices in Yilan, Tokyo, and Seoul. The platform serves markets including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and America, Europe.

History

Prior in July 2013, AsiaYo was established in Taiwan as a platform specializing in homestay bookings. AsiaYo website was release in March 2014.[1][2] In June 2016, AsiaYo expanded services to Japan, Korea, and Thailand, and in December 2018 launched English version website which offering hotel bookings in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Macau.[3][4] In 2020–2022, AsiaYo provided quarantine hotel and camping reservation services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.[5][6] In 2023, introduced cruise travel services and online booking for marathon entries.[7][8] In 2024, AsiaYo added global group tours and day tour reservations on the platform.[9][10]

In February 2017, AsiaYo secured NT$100 million in Series A funding from Taiwan's Da Ying Venture Capital, with participation from Japan's Accord Venture.[11] In December 2018, AsiaYo raised US$7 million in Series B funding led by Alibaba Group.[3] In 2019, it was recognized as The Most Promising App (Chinese: 最具潛力App) by Google Play.[12] In July 2022, AsiaYo completed a Series C funding round totaling US$12.5 million, with investors including Lion Travel, Klook, Alibaba Taiwan Entrepreneurs Fund, TaoLuo Capital, China Development Financial, Da Ying Capital, and Cornerstone Venture Capital.[13]
