LearningRO originated from a college coursework project in early 2024. The founder, Dhumik Pravin, created the platform while attending The City of Leicester College in the United Kingdom. Originally launched under the name "LearnifyX", it was later renamed to "LearningRO" following a naming conflict. The idea was inspired by a “Dragons’ Den” style assignment given by a teacher named David, which prompted Dhumik to go beyond the classroom brief and develop a functioning educational platform.
