2007 FIBA Asia Champions Cup

The FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2007 is the 18th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament would be held at Tehran, Iran.

Format

  • Preliminary round: Round robin, last placed team would be eliminated.
  • Quarterfinals: Single-elimination cross-over quarterfinal; Fourth place from Group A to face first place from Group B, and so on. Since Group A only has 3 teams, the first place from Group B receives a quarterfinal bye.
  • Classification: Losers from the quarterfinals face off in a single-elimination.
  • Semifinals: Single-elimination semifinals. The winner of Group B advances automatically.
  • Final: Winners from the semifinals face off in a one-game playoff; the losers face off for the third place honors.
