Paavo Lipponen

Paavo Tapio Lipponen (born 1941) is Finilands prime minister since 1995. He has been a member of parliament from 1983 to 1987, and again from since 1991. Lipponen was elected as the leader of the Finnish Social Democratic Party in 1993, and he lead the party to victories in the parliamentary elections of 1995 and 1999.
