William Katt plays Elgin, a college boy who experiences his first romantic & sexual relationship with older coed Caroline played by Susan Dey. Dey must choose between an older man she is seeing and the younger Elgin. Fine acting by both, Susan Dey & William Katt, helped make this critically acclaimed by some for its candid frank portrayal of romantic relationships. This was a groundbreaking film for director Joan Darling.
