Alter Ego is a studio album by French singer Amanda Lear first released in 1995, which yielded three German single releases in the Eurodisco genre; "Everytime You Touch Me", "Angel Love" and "Peep!" - the theme song of her erotic German TV-series of the same name. All of these were available in a wide range of extended dance remixes, and a few more would turn up on various hits compilations in the future. In 1998 the album, which marked Lear's return to Munich after twelve years, was to undergo the remix treatment yet again, as large parts of it was remade and remodeled for compilation Back In Your Arms and in 2005 "I'll Miss You" - a cover of I Santo California's 1975 hit "Tornerò" - was to be re-recorded as a duet with German-Spanish singer Manuel Sanchez for his studio album Ambitious.

"The day will come when I myself, and countless other people, will yearn for a land, or flee to another place on this earth, untained by modern culture, technology, greed and the hustle and bustle of life, one last place free of the noise, crowds, smoke, and dust of the cities."
