Trivia
- This is the first premium download in the Zoo Tycoon series.
- The Dino Danger Pack was followed by a full expansion focusing on animals of the past, Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals, and proceeded by the original Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs. Extinct Animals contains two dinosaurs from the Dino Danger Pack, and may include the rest, but are not confirmed.
- In all the dinosaurs, the male is more brightly colored than the female. For example, the male Styracosaurus is a bright orange, but the female is brown. (See sexual dimorphism)
- The carnivores will eat guests, but only adult men and not women or children, most likely for user-friendly issues (see sexist)
- On the animal escapades section of the website the picture of what is supposed to be a male Tyrannosaurus named 'Terrence' is female.
- Rather than being published by Microsoft Game Studios, the Dino Danger Pack was published by Oberon Media.
