Tochiazuma Tomoyori (born 3 September 1944 as Hayao Shiga) is a former sumo wrestler from Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. His highest rank was sekiwake, which he held for one tournament in March 1970. He won the top makuuchi division championship in January 1972. He was in the maegashira ranks at the time and needed only an 11-4 record to do so (13-2 or 14-1 are the norm). He also won ten special prizes, four for Outstanding Performance and six for Technique. He retired in January 1977. He stayed on in the sumo world as a coach at his stable, Kasugano, until 1990 when he left to set up Tamanoi stable. His son, the recently retired ozeki Tochiazuma Daisuke, will be his successor.
