Text alignment

Would someone please add a parameter to choose a text alignment option for the message text? I'm of the school that messages should be aligned flush left for easier reading. Since this isn't a universally-held view, most likely the best solution would be to add a parameter to the template. (See a previous version of the {{Nutshell}} template.) I don't know enough about how to write code to do this myself. It would be great if when the parameter is left empty it defaults to center-aligned text, as that's what everyone's used to. Change the colour and picture

I suggest setting up a test page for trying out changes. About 800 pages use this template so any change should gain consensus.
