History of Phi Sigma Nu
Seven young men, with a vision to bring cohesion and self-reliance to native men on collegiate levels, founded Phi Sigma Nu on February 13, 1996, where they became a recognized student organization on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
Phi Sigma Nu has come to represent excellence in all areas, as it as dedicated to the founders' vision of leadership, individuality, community, honesty, wisdom, pride and unity.
