The 15th Pan-American Games will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between 13th July 2007 and 29th July 2007. The 15th Pan-American Games Rio 2007 will have 699 athletes, 389 men and 310 women, and 267 directors, in total, 966 people in 41 sports.

Goals

The Rio de Janeiro Mayor and Brazilian Olympic Group want show that Brazil is the best choice to receive the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

Another mission of Brazil is 2nd position in History Pan-American Winner

The COB will use the Rio Pan to prepare for the 2008 Olympic Games.
