Emmanuel Philibert (b.July 8 1528-d.August 30 1580), surnamed the Iron Head, was the Duke of Savoy from 1553-1580.


He married Margaret of Valois, daughter of Francis I of France and sister of Henry II of France and had several children including Carlo Emanuele I.
