Orugallu is currently Warangal and is a district in AndraPradesh, India. Orugallu used to be capital for Kakatiyas, who ruled between 15th and 16th centuries. Renowned rulers in Kakatiyas include Ganapathi Raju, Rani Rudrama Devi and Pratapa Raju. Subsequently Moghuls conquered and ruled. Orugallu is also sometimes referred as EkasilaNagaram.
