Aikido Shinju-kai
Hi, I noticed you delete the article on Aikido Shinju-kai earlier this month. The reason given by 3 members of the community was that it was not a notable Aikido club. In fact, Aikido Shinju-kai is the largest Aikido organisation in Singapore with over 5000 members and 60 dojo in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China. The reason that there was very little information being updated was because I was trying to rally more aikidoka from the regions to assist. If I had started it of wrongly, I would really appreciate your assistance in helping make the page more informative to both local, regional and international students to understand about Aikido and us.
Deletion of Frenzy LiveCD article
I am developer of this LiveCD :) Why this article was deleted? Yes, it is temporarily not developed, but is quite useful, especially in Russia and Ukraine. You may see this article in Russian wikipedia: http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frenzy . If Russian article fits Wikipedia rules, may I translate it to English and put instead old article?
Restore article to meet standards
Sr13 please restore the article New Flight Charters, deleted today, and it will be edited to standards and to meet the deletion discussion concerns within 48 hours. Relevance, notability, non-promotional content and References etc. Also information on the jet charter industry and growth in recent years.
To include information on private/executive jet chartering which is booming in recent years. More private jets are flying everyday in the US than the scheduled airlines. On-demand charter and jet cards discussion.
New Flight Charters is one of the leaders in on-demand charter, a Gov't contractor and counts current and former heads of state as regular passengers. It is not an "airline" but a charter provider or charter broker. There were however no closer categories for this newer and elite type of air travel. Charter Brokers are the major force and suppliers in private jet charter, not individual aircraft owners/operators, and category Aviation would benefit from articles about this Billion-dollar industry and travel method.
Upon restoring and editing, please review for deletion. We wish to provide a usuable and relevant article regarding this notable provider in booming private jet travel. Please allow the article to show that.
RfD Question for Bobby Blackwolf Show
Sr13, I'm not really up on Wikipedia, so I asked a question on the RfD page of my show (which I have never edited) and I never received an answer before you closed the discussion phase. So I'd like to reask it here.
I cannot vote or edit the entry (as I am the person who runs the show) and I'm positive that this entry will be deleted since I very rarely edit Wikipedia articles at all, much less my own, but my question is - how would I submit sources of notability? I cannot edit the article as it would violate WP:NPOV or something else, and it seems like my listeners didn't do a good enough job writing this in the first place. I just see a lot of other podcasts that I work with not getting touched with RfD's and wonder how they've avoided the RfD-hammer. No, I don't hold a grudge or anything, I'm actually surprised it took this long to get RfD'd - but I would love to know that once I do get more notable sources than I do now how I would submit those to Wikipedia in the future without compromising any standards since I do have a vested interest in the article. (I can also provide listener statistics as well.) Thanks for your time, sorry it seems my show has cluttered up Wikipedia - I never asked people to put it here and I did not put it here myself.
I don't believe I have enough independent sources today to request inclusion into Wikipedia (but I have more than several other podcasts which are not being threatened with RfD's) but I did want to know the means to use in the future when I do - WITHOUT violating WP:NPOV. I am the person who runs the show in question and I respect Wikipedia enough to know that I have no business touching any page related to what I do, but I also hate seeing that my listeners didn't do a good enough job writing the page in the first place.
I'm not upset at the deletion, I'm just seeking information about being included in the future once I do believe that there's enough evidence of "notability" while still respecting Wikipedia's guidelines. Thanks for your time. --BlackwolfGA 17:55, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response. Once there's a few more articles written I'll get with you (and I think it's getting nominated for an award, which appears to be enough "notability" for other podcasts.) Before the user went in and created the article, it (and my name itself) was actually forwarding to All Games Radio, is it possible to reinstate those forwards or were those forwards also removed via the RfD? Thanks. --BlackwolfGA 17:25, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Rename clerking
Re [1] - please leave accepting or declining requests for the crats. There was a lot of controversy over this a few months ago and the crats asked expressly that the clerks never accept or decline requests. As a purely practical point, the archival Bot is programmed only to remove requests if the {{done}} or {{notdone}} tag is signed by one of the present bureaucrats so non-crats adding it doesn't really help the process :-). WjBscribe 13:51, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Heh, don't worry about it. I'm sure the request will be declined. But sometimes a quiet life is worth a slightly bureucratic compromise :-) ... WjBscribe 14:15, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

EfD closing
Thank you for closing my EfD with a "bye-bye" result. What counts as advertising?
Hi Singularity. I noticed that you removed a whole chunk of facts from the Shadow Hand page. The removed facts do not seem to follow a pattern consistent with the removal of advertising material. For example, you removed the statement "The hand contains 234 sensors in total." but did not remove the statement "The movements of the hand are powered by a set of 40 Air Muscles in the forearm." What is the logic of this?
Furthermore, these facts are no more advertising than the facts and figures listed on the ASIMO page for example, or the Segway. Do you think someone should remove this information too? In fact, I made sure that the page contained no nonsense like "this is the best hand" etc. unlike the Foster-Miller_TALON page, which really does read like a gushing advertisement. The page contained only referenced facts.
I certainly agree that the source of the data was 100% from my company, but if other robot systems have a Wikipedia page, then this highly notable hand should also. Rocketmagnet 20:16, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Hawaii
Hi,
I was looking over that DRV. I think the right result is being reached, as there is no point in relisting this material as it stands, but I've got to concur with the trout-slapping. In particular, the closing -- "I, for one, am very familiar with this subject" -- carries a bad implication. Without elaboration, I take that to mean, that you -- as an expert on Hawaii -- are imposing your judgment on the topic. This would be a contentious claim to make even if you are an academically-credentialed expert on Hawaiian history (as Wikipedia doesn't give experts "veto power"), and a dubious claim otherwise. In general, its bad form to inject one's off-wiki expertise into one's closure, especially as a blanket assertion without any supporting logic. It can sound a little arrogant, even more so in the context of a speedy closure.
Mind you, the only reason I bother you with this advice is because I know you are a wonderful Wikipedian, and that you would never intentionally convey such an impression. Anyone who quotes Sagan on their userpage obviously has great taste. :) Enjoy your vacation! Best wishes, Xoloz 15:34, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Knowledge services
Bold text The log says that the article was deleted and nothing else. Not much help there. Was there any particular reason, or was it just because? It's kind of irksome to put effort into producing a Wikipedia article only to have it trashed and not even know why. Frankly, the chances of my writing anything else are now slim to none.
